This Privacy Policy applies to the Outreach desktop application, its related project pages, and any user data processed through the application in connection with supported email account features.
It does not apply to third-party email providers themselves. When a user connects an account from a provider such as Gmail, Outlook, GMX, or another service, that provider’s own privacy policy and terms also apply to the user’s account.
Outreach is designed around a simple principle: user data should be accessed only for the purpose the user explicitly requests inside the application.

User data may necessarily pass through the connected email provider’s systems as part of normal email service operation. Beyond that, Outreach is intended to limit disclosure of user data to only what is required to operate the application or comply with legal obligations.
If service providers are used in the future for limited operational functions, they will be selected with privacy and security in mind and only for purposes compatible with this Privacy Policy.
Outreach is designed to retain data only for as long as needed to provide application functionality, preserve necessary settings, maintain local application state, or comply with legal obligations.
Locally stored data may remain on the user’s device until the user removes an account, clears application data, or uninstalls the application. Retention periods may vary depending on the feature used and the user’s configuration.
As a desktop application, Outreach may store certain configuration details, application state, and authentication material locally on the user’s device in order to maintain a connected session and support ongoing functionality.
Users should protect their device and local environment appropriately, including using device-level security, encrypted storage where available, and secure access controls.
Outreach is being developed with security in mind, including limiting access to only what is needed for supported functionality, using standard provider authentication methods where available, and minimizing unnecessary data handling.
However, no software, transmission method, or storage mechanism can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should understand that all systems carry some degree of risk.
Outreach is not intended to sell personal information. It is not designed to use personal information for targeted advertising or to disclose personal information to third parties in exchange for value in the sense commonly associated with data sale laws.
If users are located in jurisdictions with specific privacy rights, such as the European Union, United Kingdom, California, or other regions with data protection laws, Outreach aims to respect those legal requirements as the application matures and is prepared for broader release.
Depending on the user’s jurisdiction, users may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal data.
Because Outreach is a desktop application and may store certain information locally on the user’s own device, many actions can also be taken directly by the user through account removal, local data deletion, or application uninstall. Outreach is not directed to children and is not intended for use by individuals who are not legally able to authorize account access under applicable law.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time as the application develops, provider integrations evolve, legal requirements change, or project practices are refined.
